A Stress Free Date

by Margaret Murphy
(Chicago, Il)

I took my husband out to dinner and we went to a motel afterward.

That sounds boring right? Well, this is what I did.

I called the restaurant to get a menu and ordered everything in advance for both of us, from the drinks and appetizers to dessert. I laid out my husband's suit with a g-string which he Had to wear. I told him I would be dressed up too.

I called his work and talked to his boss in advance to ask if he could get off early that day. When he came home he saw my note to get dressed and meet me at the restaurant.

When he got there I was dressed up in a beautiful dress and I had 2 rose buds in a 2 bud vase. He said, WOW! When he sat down the waiter brought us our drinks. He was speechless!

We chatted and got our appetizers and salads. And then our dinners. His favorite was steak and potatoes cooked just right. Our dessert was a cheesecake that we shared.

I had already paid the bill and given the waiter a tip. So off we went in my car to the motel. I got out and rented the room for a few hours and then went to the trunk to get the champagne and glasses that I had previously put in there.

My husband was smiling from ear to ear that night.

I wanted to give him a stress free night because his job required both mental and physical activity. It was the best date for both of us!
