Sam Tells Why Life
With His Wife Was Like Magic
- Sleepless in Seattle

by Stanley J. Leffew

Romance had a friend when the movie "Sleepless in Seattle" hit the movie theaters. Few eyes were dry during parts of this movie, and hearts of love seekers everywhere walked away with a sense of just how great love can be.

When it comes to romantic movie moments or love quotes from romantic movies, you just can't overlook the story of a young father in Seattle who needed a little push back into the world of relationships and dating after his wife passed away.

That push came in the form of his young son who called in to a late night radio talk show program in Seattle that specialized in relationships. The scene from that phone call is one of the most romantic and heart moving moments in romantic movie history. Here is a little of the dialog.

Radio Call-In Relationships Specialist: "Sam, tell me what was so special about your wife."

Sam from Seattle: "Well, how long is your program? (sighs) "Well, it was a million tiny little things that, when you add them all up, they meant that we were supposed to be together.....and I knew it. I knew it the very first time I touched her. It was like coming home.....only to no home I'd ever known. I was just taking her hand to help her out of a car and I knew. It was like.....magic."

Here is the movie trailer for your enjoyment.
